 My passion for the water, mountains, landscape formations and wildlife inspires my art and paintings. I often spend long hours in the wild, immersing myself in the sight and sound of my surroundings. In my paintings I strive to capture the essence and subtlety of the natural settings that excite my vrious senses. Technically, I love to use strong value contrast to make a painting more vibrant and exciting. Perhaps because of my scientific background, I am very keen on experimenting with new techniques and new materials. From time to time, I would step out of my comfort zone to explore a new territory, which includes exploring different genres besides landscapes and wildlife. |
